Fauxson Fell Ponies and Pinto Friesian Sporthorses

About Us

Cindy Mancini and Rambler at Schooling Show 2010

I have loved horses and ponies my entire life. I rode sporadically as a child and young adult and even owned a pony and a half as a child. But there were a lot of horseless years. Through all those non-horsey years, the passion never died.

I met my husband, George, while living in New York City of all places! He thought a was a city girl, but soon he realized that any life with me would be away from the City and surrounded by critters. Make that, the year before we married, I quit a perfectly good job in public relations to apprentice at the UVM Morgan Horse Farm.

Around 2000 we started breeding 3/4 friesians and pinto friesian sporthorses. Our friesian cross foals have all moved on to lifetime homes: Urban Legend (now Ladyhawke), Haarlem, Tribeca, and Stuyvesant. And we have decided to take a break from breeding to enjoy the horses and ponies that we have and raise our own filly, Lara.

In 2006, I sold my mare (1/2 friesian and 1/2 welsh), Unknown Legend (Harley) to a woman in Vermont who bought her daughter Haarlem the year before. So, Harley went to live with her daughter, and I was in need of a dressage partner.

I met Rambler at a Horse Expo in Timonium, Maryland. It was love at first sight. At least for me it was!

Rambler is an amazing, beautiful, sweet stallion. He is currently training and competing in dressage with me and his trainer, Cindy Mancini. He and Cindy are currently riding First Level and schooling 2nd level. Rambler is a licensed Fell pony stallion and stands to both Fell mares and non-fell mares. We offer live cover at our farm and shipped cooled semen collected at Cornell University.

Our farm is located in Binghamton, New York. Minutes off of route 81 and just a few miles outside of Pennsylvania. It is only 3 hours from Chester County, PA, and New York, NY.
